Asia Ladowska

Her artistic journey began in childhood, nurtured by family encouragement and education. However, in school, she was discouraged from drawing manga artwork. She decided to follow her heart anyway, and it led to online success and defined her distinct manga style.

Asia left her full-time job seven years ago to focus completely on her own art projects. She is now a full-time freelance artist and the author of her art book, ‘Sketch with Asia’.

For her, art is about conveying emotion and story through every character’s eyes. She loves sharing her process, techniques, and personal insights on her social media and Patreon.

Inspiration

Her biggest inspiration is Japan—its culture, animation, and exciting art books—which she visits often to find new ideas.

Asia works both digitally, with drawing software such as Photoshop and Clip Studio Paint, and traditionally, with her favorite Copic markers.
