This is good. There are many caraicature tutorials on the internet, but many of them don't have the skill like Dave does. He covers the points very well and his advice is wonderful. For super beginner artists, this might be tough because he tells you how to think, but won't cover in super deteail how to draw all features at all angles, so you'll have to learn that on your own. But what he does give is valuable.

Well thank you, Rodgon! I struggled for so long with anatomy and now I really understand! I see myself drawing what I couldn’t do and now I can!! I need a lot of practice off course to get it really right, but I can go on. So thank you for that.

This is the course I've been looking for all my life. I literally gave up on learning to draw 10 years ago. I concluded "I must not have what it takes for this. Nothing seems to work for me." I've bought/used dozens of those "how to draw books" that didn't really work. I've paid for night classes at Art Institutes that didn't really teach anything, and threw us into life drawing classes. I spent about 10 to 15 years of 'practice' to get no where, and I gave up. 10 years later I run across Rodgon on my TikTok/FB-Reels. I try some of his techniques, that are amazing. I sign up for this "Learn Anatomy in 21 Days" course and it's the best art instruction I've EVER received. This course if life changing and he keeps it all so simple. It's 90% circles and cylinders. For the first time ever, I feel I'm learning from someone who is actually teaching me how to draw and it's all so surprisingly simple! Combine that with all the little gems he sprinkles in through the course like drawing with a pen and labeling your mistake vs erasing them --that is revolutionary. Being able to watch him actually draw what he's teaching and seeing him draw it over and over again in seconds because it's so easy and it works so well is very inspiring. There's no guessing. He teaches you a technique that takes 2 seconds. Then he just keeps using it to draw something, then another, and another. Suddenly, I'm fill the page with little characters and monsters and chibi stuff. Its fun. Honestly, that's the most exciting part, sketching is fun again. I look forward to practicing Rodgon's techniques. The results on my page are fun and playful. Seriously, 5 stars. This course was life changing for me.

This online course exceeded my expectations. As a beginner, I found the step-by-step explanations extremely clear and easy to follow. It helped me build a solid understanding of the basic tools in the program, as well as more advanced concepts. I truly learned a lot and feel much more confident using the software now. I am a non-arts background guy who did a few courses on udemy and skillshare. The problem there was that they oscillated between highly structured to highly intuitive. In both cases, it was easy to draw the front view but anything else was a nightmare as it was difficult to replicate the system. Rodgon has provided a wonderful watered down anatomy framework using basic shapes which works well in all poses. His framework combined with a little bit of perspective, volume, and depth understanding does wonders. You will see the difference in your drawing soon enough. Just stick to the course as it is time taking but worth every second. He is a fantastic teacher who gives you the right tools and also informs about the limitations and learning curve. In a nutshell his system works. I am no Picasso but I have seen considerable improvement in my work which is for hobby sake. Do get a little bit hang of perspective and volume before this course. Maybe Rodgon can add a pre-module on that for absolute beginners to make this a complete course for all. I would also request him to please consider a follow-up animation course from here which builds on this system. A frame-by-frame classic would be a great starting point and then there is procreate dreams tools to make it easier. Best wishes and thank you Rodgon.

Not only did I learn a lot about different lighting structures and blend modes, I also learned a couple procreate tricks that I didn’t know of in all my years using the app! So far my favorite course on this site!

Great class that’s super easy to follow and understand. Great if you’re new to Procreate but also some tips even if you’ve been doing digital art for awhile. Would recommend this class for anyone wanting to get started with digital art.

Very easy to follow with great assignments to help settle what you have learned in the lessons. Erika helped me overcome my doubts about digital art creation process (used to prefer pencil on paper). Now I can see the advantages of both traditional and digital methods.

Laia is a joy to watch as she describes her art process in good detail, and her methods for how she draws characters. I find her style very inspiring and shall attempt to create my own style of characters using the inspiration I gained from this course.

I learned a lot, it was easy to follow. For me the hair and the shadows were a really big struggle, but of course every part could be a 3h long session if I would like to understand the theory behind. So all in all, thank you for this great experience! And usefull tips!

Best to start right after season 1. The way Mr. Mark explains and his motivation on drawing helps me a lot. The aim is to draw atleast one in each day. And this course is for absolute beginners.

Laia's illustrations are full of life and creativity! She has excellent teaching skills, very clear explanations, and inspires anyone who wants to learn or improve their drawing techniques.

I thought this class would be too easy, just coloring, but instead it was an inspiring ride with a clear path into your own passion. She gives you permission to play and explore, even if you didn’t know you needed it. This has definitely opened my mind into why I got started after becoming stale in the journey. Surreal is where I wanted to go anyway and she tapped into it so easily.

I appreciate when an instructor explains what he's thinking, even if they think the student might already know or understand. I appreciated his relaxed vibe, his preferences. He spoke with calm confidence, and you didn't have to work extra hard to extract his process. Also, he did not over-explain and bog down with too much detail (which can feel dynamic, but then it's hard to retain too much information). You get just what you need. I only would have enjoyed understanding if he did a final blend at the last stage of the skin, or if it just dried naturally like that. Truly learned much from this course.

It was encouraging, and made me feel like I could draw every exercise was easy and a building block. I would encouraging to anyone who feels discouraged in their drawing journey. I also had the book before the course and I would have to say that the course is a lot better in my opinion as the feedback and the reassurance he says to you as you progress builds confidence.
