I loved the way he explained, easy to understand. however I really would love to see more examples of art appreciation and explanation. probably add on some homeworks or activities would have been nice!

I used to be bad at drawing people and would always avoid it. Rodgon makes it super easy to understand, which I really like. Now I just enjoy doing sketches when I’m at a cafe or taking a break from my phone. Thank you.

Very happy Jordan Rhodes has a class here. I follow his work on social and he has such a beautiful style. It's so helpful to see his process. I learned a lot - especially mistakes I have been making with gouache and what I should do instead. Very good tips on how to set up the painting and considerations for using the paint. Touched on color theory which is important to understand why it looks good. Now that I've watched it, I am going to try my hand at it too!

very nice and full of excellent ideas ^_^ it's a shame the focus is on the face and many final solutions from clip studio need to be translated if one uses other programs, like me who uses procreate, but excellent overall!

This is a great course, regardless of what level you are coming from. Tony explains the different techniques very well and makes it easy to understand the new concepts! Highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their drawings.

There were really two important parts of instruction. 1. Stream of consciousness and being intuitive with the approach to a piece. 2. Use of the markers. I watched this for the second reason. I'm new to alcohol markers. I really got a lot of good information on the use of the markers. I didn't even do a piece of art....yet. I just watched. I have other projects I want to work on with markers, but I do plan to try her intuitive principles. The first part of instruction was fascinating and I know I will use it in future projects. Her process of creating was well laid out and easy to follow. I highly recommend this course!

This course helped me begin to understand color theory. I knew nothing about color theory before and now I feel like I know something now lol. It helped me understand lighting and shading too. Great for an absolute beginner, but someone that has any knowledge of color theory already probably won't gain anything from this course. The instructor did a great job of super simplifying a complex topic.
