I've been drawing with Mark since I was eight years old. I'm thrilled to find another opportunity to do that. Mark was my earliest exposure to drawing and had a massive impact on my career as illustrator and animator.

Wow, just...wow. i had a blast doing this. At first i was doubtful of my abilities to follow along but once I practiced and applied simple tweaks, I have been on fire with trying characters of all shapes and sizes. Thank you for making this course. I will keep coming back to it to refresh myself and keep up good habits.

I liked how safe it felt the whole art progress with Erika, I would've usually forbid myself to continue with the next step until it was as close as possible to what the artist had made, but in this course I felt welcome to experience the art progress with a little bit of "my own touches", and like Bob Ross would say, my mistakes didn't felt like mistakes, but happy accidents! I loved this so much, it took me a while to finish since how burned out I've been of art, but after finally ending this course, im very happy and motivated. Thank you, Erika!! :)

This has been an amazing course. I have been struggling for years with various different courses and always gave up after some time because the guidance was insufficient and the drawings intimidating. I have now completed the whole course and feel confident, which makes me want to draw more. I love the way he demystifies and simplifies everything. Excellent course!

I really liked this course, the way it was edited, with seeing her ipad on one side of the screen and on the other side seeing the brush and her hands while working was really nice. It's nice not only having to look at a screen but some slight interaction with the person talking.

I found this course to be very helpful and very inspiring and hopefully will assist me in my further endeavors. In fact, im sure it will. Thanks very much for putting this course together. I have had a fun time learning about how things work.

Excellent course. I would have liked a reference sheet with all the main points as a resource. That would have been helpful, however I realize learning is enhanced when you take your own notes. Thank you!

Thank you Rhea for this course. With the Color theory you applied the concepts to drawings and techniques, it was great. Although I am using Krita I could follow up all the process. This course helped me a lot to start understanding the impact of saturation and hue in the art piece.

I rated this course for all levels because I think it depends on your training. I have my BFA in fashion and MFA in costume design. I am now attempting to illustrate my own picture book. This type of drawing is not in my wheelhouse. I've never heard of the "soft cube theory". My goal was to learn how to do simple clean picture book friendly drawings with consistent characters. This course immensely! Thank you!

I like this course a lot, but it’s important to note that it is an introduction class, so it doesn’t go into the how-to of every single detail. There’s a lot of good information in the 2 hours that the class runs, but it’s not a complete everything-about-landscapes class. That would be a much longer class. I would love a longer, more thorough landscape class from this instructor though. Also, this class comes with a free brush pack and it’s actually a really good pack. There’s close to 50 brushes and a lot of them really useful.

Things that I've seen from numerous books and other instructors have been educational, but this class really helped some things click for me. I'm moving on to other classes in 21 Draw, but looking forward to coming back to this house in the future to help lock in my education. Thanks Rodgon

I’m not a beginner artist but I was searching for something to help me find my spark again. This course did just that. I learned more about procreate I didn’t know before and her final words video really drives the whole thing home.

A good tutorial that does what it sets out to do - It's good to remember this isn't about anatomy or portraits etc. It works as a good, short, to-the-point tutorial on straight forward but effective figure shading and and stylised character illustration.

such a good way to get back into art again if youre like me and had years off, picking up the pencil and drawing again after sometime brought my love for it back, and these lessons were gentle enough to ease back into everything again. Id definately recommend as a good refresher course as well.
