Rhea did an amazing job outlining the basics of color theory without moving too fast or being too repetitive. I enjoyed working through the exercises in each lesson. It really helped me understand how to put the information into practice.

I have tried to learn anatomy from books, including ones where they 'simplify' it, but I just couldn't get my head around it. This is the first time I've felt I understand what's going on. I highly recommend.

I've always avoided trying to draw people because I could never get them to not feel stiff and I didn't want to do college-level anatomy to learn all the muscles etc. This course isn't a substitute for that level of figure drawing. It was exactly what I needed, gentle steps with practice to slowly build characters in a variety of shapes. It never felt like too much to do at any time and by the end, I felt much more like I could do this! Thanks David!

I'm new to Procreate, but not to painting, and these lessons told me far more, and in a way I can understand, than reading 3 of the most popular books for teaching Procreate. Isabelle keeps things light and simple, even when explaining some of the more complex tools and I'm really impressed!!! The lighting trick was new to me also, so hats off to you on that one!!!

I love how the lessons were broken down into chunks with plenty of examples and reasons of what, why and how things are to be edited with demos. My favourite is the last lesson on how to bring it all together. The mission at the end of each lesson is also helpful to ensure that you build up the skills taught in that lesson. I marked this as for Intermediates but I think Beginners can also do this also. I wished that the PowerPoint or slides for this entire course were made available so that it could been downloaded as it really presented the course so well and can be easily followed. Great little course.

Finally! A course that is advertised for "Absolute Beginners" and it actually is! The course gets you drawing and feeling confident right of the bat. Simple steps are presented clearly and each lesson builds on the previous one. It makes drawing as simple and fun as it can be.

Loved this course! It was to the point and had lots of great examples and tips. I feel a lot more confident going into designing characters and creating emotive expressions and poses for them.

Jadokar is such an amazing artist... being allowed to watch how things come out so easily out of his hands and mind was impressive. The course is rich,but Jadokar is so quick that even thoug i set the impostation of the video to a third of the speed i had to continuosly pause to follow step after step. Over all I appreciated the course.

The content very carefully with genuine and easily understood examples helped build a framework of processes and ways of thinking designed to help an artist develop their own graphic worlds...excellent stuff...I'll certainly watch it through again

This course really helped me focus on how I want to develop my own characters and art style, which is something I´ve been struggling with. It also helped a lot on how to understand poses and expressions quickly and draw them.

I'm already halfway through the course, and I can confirm that RodGon is the absolute best at simplifying and explaining through examples. I already had some basic knowledge when I started the course, but everything I've learned so far has only added even more useful information to the way I see and draw perspective.

I used to draw a lot in the past but was only able to do this by using tons of references which I copied side to side. Even then, drawing would always take me ages to finish to eventually get a result I wasn’t always happy with. Instead of jumping into more advanced classes, I was interested in knowing what a beginner class could teach me since I never followed any courses. And I am so glad I did! This course (and the next one) actually taught me the confidence and mindset to put a line on my paper and start. It showed me how a drawing can take shape from nothing, and how repetition eventually leads to having an intuition that helps you create your actual vision/imagination on paper. I started enjoying the process more than the end result, and after drawing a bit every day for 3 months now, I notice general growth. Not every piece I draw is something I love, but thanks to the mindset I gained from this course, I finally get why it shouldn’t always be the case. You can learn so much from just trying it out. I guess I was often overthinking it? Following Mark just gave me the feeling it is okay to try something out, if it fails you remember it for your next one, if it succeeds you suddenly learned something new! Genuinely thank you for these lessons, it really fueled a fire I lost 15 years ago.
