I enjoyed the course and Rodgon's easy-to-follow instruction. After some practice, I can say that my drawings of people have definitely improved, increasing my confidence and enjoyment of drawing. Thank You, Rodgon!

I learned a lot, it was easy to follow. For me the hair and the shadows were a really big struggle, but of course every part could be a 3h long session if I would like to understand the theory behind. So all in all, thank you for this great experience! And usefull tips!

Best to start right after season 1. The way Mr. Mark explains and his motivation on drawing helps me a lot. The aim is to draw atleast one in each day. And this course is for absolute beginners.

This is good. There are many caraicature tutorials on the internet, but many of them don't have the skill like Dave does. He covers the points very well and his advice is wonderful. For super beginner artists, this might be tough because he tells you how to think, but won't cover in super deteail how to draw all features at all angles, so you'll have to learn that on your own. But what he does give is valuable.

I thought this class would be too easy, just coloring, but instead it was an inspiring ride with a clear path into your own passion. She gives you permission to play and explore, even if you didn’t know you needed it. This has definitely opened my mind into why I got started after becoming stale in the journey. Surreal is where I wanted to go anyway and she tapped into it so easily.

I appreciate when an instructor explains what he's thinking, even if they think the student might already know or understand. I appreciated his relaxed vibe, his preferences. He spoke with calm confidence, and you didn't have to work extra hard to extract his process. Also, he did not over-explain and bog down with too much detail (which can feel dynamic, but then it's hard to retain too much information). You get just what you need. I only would have enjoyed understanding if he did a final blend at the last stage of the skin, or if it just dried naturally like that. Truly learned much from this course.

It was encouraging, and made me feel like I could draw every exercise was easy and a building block. I would encouraging to anyone who feels discouraged in their drawing journey. I also had the book before the course and I would have to say that the course is a lot better in my opinion as the feedback and the reassurance he says to you as you progress builds confidence.

The fun is in the practicing, but having such a great set of reference points and tips to accelerate that practice is great. Really enjoyed this and I feel I have much more to learn but on a great base. Thank you :)

It’s far the best course I’ve ever taken. Not needed to be too sophisticated to be useful. Often genius lies in simplicity. And with these course we are in! Thank you so much, now I can see a difference in my drawings. Now I’m enrolled in your fan’s army for a long time 😁😉.

I've been drawing for quite a long time, and I haven't felt this inspired by a teacher in a while. Aveline not only talked about her journey, which can resonate with all of us (since finding an art position is very hard nowadays), but also guided us through an incredible forest that her own understanding of light and colours is. I will not call myself a beginner; I'm rather at an intermediate skill level. And I'll be honest, there was pretty much nothing new in terms of how light works physically, or how you should work with colours that I didn't already know. But every second of this course was worth it nonetheless, simply because art is not "learn how physics of light behaves and you'll be good." This course gives you a detailed explanation of how a professional artist works with it. How she bends shadows and light to create stunning, alive artworks. And this is why courses like this matter: they might not show you new physics perspectives, but they'll teach you new ways to work with lights and shadows. And this will help YOU develop your own ways by learning, observing, studying, and picking up different habits from different masters. Overall, this was amazing. Highly recommended.

I loved how she explained and showed different types of light and shadow settings. It was easy to understand the concept of different types of light in different angels. Just the right amount of theory and practice combined.

It takes me while to catch on to instruction but this was very easy to follow and the drawings were very "step by step"! He did not skip over anything. One of my top favorite classes!

Really enjoyed the course, I found the examples and technique practice sessions helpful. Enjoyed the character as the main project. Felt like some of the modules towards the end went quite fast and were a little tricky to follow.

Laia's illustrations are full of life and creativity! She has excellent teaching skills, very clear explanations, and inspires anyone who wants to learn or improve their drawing techniques.

The course was good for a beginner or any artist who already knows how to draw but doesn't know how to begin with. All step by step are very helpful and clear, I haven't draw in years and at first I don't know how to start again, then I take this course and everything just came naturally and easy for me.
