This was a great course. I'm an absolute beginner and it was great to learn the key features of different types of animals as well as the similarities and differences between them. Knowing the key features to look out for and to have a step by step process on how to draw them has set a really solid foundation to be able to build on. I went from not having any idea where to start to being able to sit on the train and think of one of the animals in the course and draw it using the key features identified in each lesson. I also found it really helpful that the resources and videos showed the animals drawn from different angles (3/4 view, side view, front view). I really enjoyed the course and I'm looking forward to practicing what I learnt to make really cute and adorable animal drawings.

This course was very usuful for me to reorganize my own studies. Most of the content of this course I have already seen before, because I am not a beginner, but I could learn relevant things watching the classes. I believe it one of the best courses for beginners to have a strong idea of the main topics of studying drawing, and it can give them a path to follow up and continuing their studies.

It helped me a lot to remind myself of what I learned throughout my career and piece it together with the new things I’ve been learning to improve my ability to create character poses that feel alive. Being able to make better poses for characters I recently refined was really fun and necessary, since I realized I was focusing too much on staying within the mold of the design and had forgotten about their expressiveness. I wish this man had an entire dedicated drawing course because his vibe and teaching style is a perfect match for me but anyway this is a great video to start with if you are a complete beginner and if you are like me and burn out easy it’s short enough to keep you engaged and hopefully at the end give you enough motivation to keep going 👍

The course provided a lot of valuable theoretical knowledge. It helped me gain a much better understanding of character creation in general and taught me important core principles to keep in mind. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is just starting out and needs a strong foundation and a solid understanding of the field.

I took a break from drawing for a few years because of frustration. I wanted to get back into it and even though I'm not necessarily a beginner I wanted to start from the ground up. I'm so happy I did! The way Rodgon breaks everything down has led me to so many "A-HA!" moments. Concepts that didn't click years back finally made sense. I cannot stress enough how important foundational concepts are and he makes learning them not overwhelming.
