brillant et motivant, mais quand même trop complexe et intuitif pour un débutant absolu !!! Ce n'était pas mon cas, j'ai avancé lentement, plusieurs semaines pour laisser un temps d'appropriation... C'est brillant, en prenant le temps, ça m'a fait faire un très grand bond en avant car la méthode est très pertinente, sous tendue par un progression logique. L'instructeur est très agréable à suivre... et j'irai vers ses autres cours sans hésitation.

Excellent. Très bon cours qui synthétise très bien les éléments structurant qui permettront des études d'animaux pour développer notre bibliothèque mentale. Merci Rodgon pour ce cours, qui aura j'espère un volume 2 (animaux des la ferme et du zoo).

J'ai beaucoup apprécié les étapes, et les commentaires sur les erreurs à ne pas faire (erreur qu'on fait naturellement). J'ai un peu moins apprécié la redondance des commentaires du genre : amusez vous etc ... je trouve que ca alourdit l'oral de la vidéo

Cours très clair pour tout niveau et facile à prendre en main avec beaucoup de pratique et de répétition. Pour les débutants ne pas hésiter a prendre des images de différentes pose pour avoirs des références " ex: sur Pinterest: image de gesture" car complexe des fois de faire de tête mais cela vient rapidement avec les temps et la pratique quotidienne. Vraiment un cours simple mais efficace qui m'a débloqué sur beaucoup de points. Merci beaucoup 🙏

Ohlala merci Erica pour cette masterclass ! Entre la théorie du dessin, la pratique avec comment utiliser les calques/brush, les fausses/bonnes idées et comment revenir à simplement ce que l'on aime, c'est un cours hyper complet ! Je recommande très chaleureusement la vision d'Erica !

Très très cool ! Frank donne énormément de tips pour aller plus vite. Alors oui, au début ça va prendre du temps, mais c'est à force d'utiliser ces astuces et dès le début de son apprentissage. Les efforts payeront avec le temps. Merci beaucoup pour ces astuces, transposables sur d'autres logiciel que Clip Studio Paint (ils font presque tous la même chose. Par contre je suis bluffée par le vectoriel de CSP !). En gros, foncé.

J'ai apprécié qu'Erika parle autant du pourquoi tu veux être sur les réseaux que ce que ça t'apporte. Ça permet de relativiser et de peut-être moins se prendre la tête pour plus de fun.

Rodgon est vraiment sympathique. Le cours est très bien construit. Sa méthode et ses exercices sont très malins. Je ne suis pas débutant, mais j'ai appris plusieurs astuces bien utiles, que j'utiliserai à l'avenir! Un peu trop de répétitions des bases, parfois, mais c'est bien normal pour s'adresser aux vrais débutants, donc rien à reprocher à cela. Merci Rodgon !

I genuinely cannot say enough wonderful things about this course or about Marsa as an artist and teacher. I have followed and admired her work for years, so seeing her grow to the point of collaborating with 21 Draw and creating a course of this quality feels incredibly special. She has always had such a distinctive understanding of color, light, texture, form, and stylized rendering, and this course proves that she is not only an incredible artist, but also an exceptionally clear, thoughtful, and generous instructor. What impressed me most is how Marsa takes concepts that can often feel overwhelming or overly technical and explains them in a way that is approachable, practical, and immediately useful. She does not simply tell you what to do or ask you to copy what is on the screen. She helps you understand why each decision works. The lessons build naturally from one another, beginning with strong foundations in light, value, volume, and form before moving into color, different surfaces, fabric, and facial features. Nothing feels rushed, confusing, or included merely to fill time. Every demonstration has a purpose, and every exercise contributes to a larger, repeatable painting process that artists can carry into their own work. The step-by-step demonstrations are exceptionally well organized. Marsa has a gift for breaking down complicated rendering decisions into manageable stages without making the process feel rigid or mechanical. Her explanations of light, shadow, halftones, reflected light, saturation, temperature, and volume are especially valuable. These are subjects artists can spend years struggling to understand, but she presents them with such clarity that the information finally begins to click. The course does not just teach you how to render one specific object or portrait. It gives you a framework for looking at almost anything and understanding how to approach it. I also love the variety of the exercises. Working through simple forms, fabric, different surfaces, color studies, and facial features makes the course feel comprehensive without becoming exhausting. Each subject introduces a new challenge and gives you another opportunity to apply the same foundational principles in a different way. By the time the course reaches the facial-feature demonstrations, everything taught earlier begins to connect beautifully. You can see how the lessons about basic forms, lighting, value, color temperature, and texture all work together to create believable, dimensional artwork. The included resources are outstanding as well. The reference images, guides, process materials, layered files, and brushes add an enormous amount of value. Marsa’s brushes deserve a special mention because they are truly some of the best digital brushes I have ever used. Her colored-pencil brush has been part of my daily art workflow for approximately two years, and I still reach for it constantly. It has become one of those rare tools that feels completely natural in my hand and genuinely supports the way I create. Her brushes are not included as a novelty or an afterthought. They are thoughtfully designed, responsive, versatile tools that artists can continue using long after completing the course. As someone who already had a deep appreciation for Marsa’s work before taking this class, I came into it with very high expectations, and she somehow exceeded them. Her teaching style is warm, engaging, encouraging, and refreshingly free of unnecessary filler. She respects the student’s time while still giving each topic the attention it deserves. You can feel how much knowledge, care, experience, and preparation went into every part of the course. I would recommend this course to artists at many different stages. Beginners will receive an incredibly strong introduction to digital painting and rendering, while intermediate and more experienced artists can use it to strengthen their fundamentals, correct gaps in their understanding, and gain insight into another professional artist’s workflow. Even familiar topics become valuable when taught through Marsa’s perspective because she has such a refined and recognizable approach to color and form. More than anything, this course is inspiring. It made me excited to practice, experiment, and return to my own artwork with fresh eyes. That is one of the greatest things an art course can accomplish. It does not leave you feeling intimidated by the instructor’s skill. It makes you feel invited into the process and capable of improving. Marsa deserves every bit of recognition she receives for this course. I am immensely proud to see an artist I have admired for so long reaching this milestone, and I sincerely hope this is only the beginning of many more courses and collaborations for her. I love it how fast it has changed my drawings from the plain empty scribbles to actually showing emotions, facial expressions. It was very helpful to fix my foundations, also the soft cube theory makes everything much easier big big thanks !

I really enjoyed this course. He offered some great tips and the lessons were clear and well demonstrated. Even though I have drawn my whole life, I have never had any formal instruction. The tips about the process leading up to the final color choices are something I am now working into my workflow. I hope you do a follow up illustration course, I will definitely attend. I’m not a beginner artist but I was searching for something to help me find my spark again. This course did just that. I learned more about procreate I didn’t know before and her final words video really drives the whole thing home.

The course was well presented and well paced. I could follow along by pausing the video on each step and it wasn't super bogged down with exposition. Erica gives exactly what you need, why, and no more. I'm very happy with what I've learned and I'm very excited to apply it to my own work.
