While known by her artist name ‘Marsa’, her real name is Maria Sakharova. She has been drawing for most of her life, building a strong foundation through formal art school training in traditional drawing before transitioning fully to digital art in 2018.

Since then, she has continued studying digital illustration and stylization, exploring light, color, and form through consistent practice and experimentation. Her visual style balances strong volume with intentional stylization. Marsa loves experimenting with different techniques and finding new ways to approach rendering and character creation.

Alongside her personal work, she creates custom brushes and practical tutorials to help artists develop their digital workflow, and is passionate about supporting other artists in building confidence and growing their skills step by step.
