I Just finished this course 2 days ago. I have been loving every moment. Mark is a wonderful teacher who brings a lot of child like joy into my drawings. Re-awakening my passion for drawing. Thank you mark for being so wonderful and positive. I am 2 lessons into the sketching course and loving every moment.

Mark Kistler is a delight to learn from. He is a nice, bubbly and more importantly fun teacher. A lot of free outlets stress how grueling, hard, boring and monotonous drawing can be. Drawing is supposed to be fun. This guy has it right! I bought his "you can draw in 30 days" book, it seemed gimmicky at first but it truly is helpful. A lot of others just wish to capitalize on a howto book. It just shows that there ARE people who care and want people to learn. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this course. I was actually looking for a water color course like this for quite some time. My goal is to create portraits with watercolor and not landscapes or animals. So finally I learned some tricks and basics from someone with the same interests. I was also very interested in mixed media with the focus on water colors (so again, that course was exactly what I needed). I do have to say that I already tried out some paintings with water color myself but I was never happy with my methods because Ive never learned the basics. Now I will feel more comfortable with the next art projects. I was also reading some negative reviews on this course and I have to add: I do understand that absolute beginners or the ones, who want to only draw in an old fashioned water color way might be intimidated or confused by some methods. BUT you should at least try out some methods and don't only judge by watching the videos without trying out yourself... Just take your brush and actually put it on paper ;).

It is an awesome course. As a student of graphic design this is just such a great example on how to take all the technichal stuff you learn in the career and just aplly it in very creative and exciting way.

Just loved this class and learned a lot. I have being using procreate for awhile now but never used layer mask which is so helpful also created my first brush. The useful tips were really helpful too. Looking forward to more courses from this wonderful instructor

Excellent course ! Clearly an intermediate to advanced level. Sometimes a bit fast. But Aveline is doing a great job teaching light sculpting with her step by step method, sharing many tips she has learned before. Great one. Merci Aveline

I’ve have struggled with digital painting techniques for so long but this course was really helpful! I’ve learned a lot of new ways to render and to practice values and blending. Thanks!

This helped me understand better how and when to add effects to change the mood of a whole scene. Because I'm nearer the beginner end of the spectrum, I had to pause the videos a lot and watch them with captions on to get the series of instructions in the right order--and I still made mistakes--but I did learn from them and had fun doing it!

Lots of great information given by an experienced professional. It didn't detract that the presenters manner was subdued because the content and advice was super relevant and engaging. Good course!

I loved the different ways taught to utilize the program to adjust colour. These are things I never knew how to use, like the gradient maps, for example. I also enjoyed the process of transferring my paper drawings to work digitally on. It's a neat process of blending traditional and digital.

Extremely helpful course on visual storytelling! I love how it's introduced thinking about my illustrations from different perspectives. And Tony Bancroft's style of teaching and examples are both easy to understand and inspiring. 10/10!

It gave me a project on which I could train my abilities on a single character. It made it easier to draw everyday because there are so many examples given to get better at drawing.

The breakdown was wonderful for being able to tackle such a huge, and often daunting process. This course helped me feel less intimidated with conveying story and I am eager to put what I learned into action!
