This January we’d like to challenge all of you to a 30-day drawing challenge. Draw everyday, no matter what, for 30 days! Start whenever you’d like and refer back to this email for tips, tricks, and special courses to help you achieve all your artistic goals for 2026.

This newsletter features a special course by Mark Kistler (not to mention, it’s one of our most popular courses): Learn to Draw in 21 days! This course is absolutely perfect if you’re a beginner who doesn’t know where to start, or if you’re just looking to brush up on some basic skills.
If you’re looking to start off the year with a bit more of a challenge, take a look at our course How to Draw from Imagination with Jadokar!
Now, let’s get started with some tips to kick-start your 30-day drawing challenge!

First, commit to 30 days in a row…no excuses. Mark every day on your calendar when you finish, and make sure to keep your drawings to see how much you improve over the 30 days!
Next, let go of perfectionism. Too often, we put off drawing because we want everything to be “perfect.” The 30-day challenge is designed to help you let go of that fear.
The goal isn’t to create a masterpiece every day, it’s about showing up and making progress. Even imperfect drawings can lead to unexpected discoveries and learning moments. Remember, it’s about the process, not the end result!

If you find yourself stuck in a creative rut, make sure to return back to this email and check out these fun prompts we made for you! To keep the challenge exciting and fresh, you can refer back to these daily prompts.
Here are 10 prompts to help expand your creativity:
We hope these prompts will inspire you, and remember, you can draw anything you’d like over the next 30 days! Using prompts can push you out of your comfort zone and help you explore new styles, subjects, and techniques.

Get ready to grab your drawing tools and begin! At the end of the month, you’ll have a collection of daily sketches that showcase your growth and creativity. It’s a powerful reminder of how far you can go when you dedicate time to your craft, even if it’s just a little bit each day.

For help on your 30-day drawing journey, check out Mark Kistler’s course: Learn to Draw in 21 days! When you take his course, you’ll only be 7 days away from completing our challenge. However, if you want a course that’s a bit more challenging, take a look at our course How to Draw from Imagination with Jadokar!
So, are you ready to take the plunge? Grab your sketchbook, set aside 10 minutes a day, and commit to drawing every day for the next 30 days. We can’t wait to see what you create!
