SEAN ANDREW MURRAY, Illustrator and Concept Artist<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sean is known for his highly detailed, line-driven fantasy illustrations and the Great City of Gateway<\/em> <\/a>universe he created.<\/p>\n

Murray studied illustration at Syracuse University<\/em>, earning a BFA before building a career in concept art spanning video games, comics, film, and television.<\/p>\n

His projects include concept art for Lord of the Rings Online<\/em> and Dungeons & Dragons Online<\/em>. He was the lead concept artist on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning<\/em>, and did illustration work for DC Comics’ ‘Sandman: The House of Whispers,’<\/em> and ‘The Book of Lorath’<\/em> for Diablo IV.<\/em><\/p>\n

He received the Spectrum Gold Award for concept art in 2016 for his work on Court of the Dead<\/em> and the 2020 Concept Art Award for Best Environment Art for a Live-Action TV Series. His work also appeared in ImagineFX <\/em>and Expos\u00e9.<\/em><\/p>\n

Beyond client work, he authored ‘Gateway: The Book of Wizards’ and teaches full-time as an illustration professor at Ringling College of Art and Design<\/em>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
